Did Moses write about Jesus?

Moses wrote many things that foreshadowed the coming of the Messiah.

Jesus is, indeed, the Passover Lamb, as those who put their faith in His death and the blood He shed are rescued from the judgment that is to come. (John 3:16-18)

Like the manna in the desert, Jesus is the Bread from Heaven (John 6:51) that satisfies our spiritual hunger and gives us life.

Like the water that sprung from the rock, Jesus is the living water (John 7:37) that satisfies our spiritual thirst.

Like the snake in the desert that was lifted up that those who were bitten by deadly snakes could look upon and be saved, Jesus was lifted up so that we who have been bitten by Satan in our sin can look upon Jesus and be saved from spiritual death. (John 3:14-15)

Like the rock that was struck the first time, but should never be struck again, Jesus suffered once for all. (1 Peter 3:18)

Jesus is the offspring of the woman spoken of in Genesis 3 that would crush the head of Satan (Genesis 3:15)

Jesus is the fulfillment of the life of Joseph, which foreshadows Him being the beloved Son, being envied by His own, begin rejected by His own, cast down into the pit, resurrected, sent to a distant country where He became lord of all, and who then provided salvation for His own.

Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah: cf. Genesis 49:8ff as interpreted by Revelation 5:5

Moses also said that God would raise up "a prophet like me" (Deuteronomy 18:15), and this is probably the clearest reference to the coming Messiah

BEWARE!

I know for sure, many shall be deceived says the scripture, but also if possible, the elect, for the wickedly false teachers shall wax worse and worse, but they that do know their God, they shall be STRONG and do exploits. Also permit me to say this brother Mike Bamiloye, before today, you have been popularly accepted by many of these teachers, rather because they do not know your stand on the truth of Christ. But the moment they all invite you one by one, and you disappoint their false teachings, you rightly dish out eternal food for the souls on coma, the starving souls and the dying souls, and hence the souls gets liberated, free from these men of God turned to gods of men and they could no longer control the crowd, not only will you become unpopular, but they will seek after your life, for the teaching of Jesus which you decided to preach has set free the captives which they kept under bondage all over the years. Or why did JESUS said ye shall be free when ye know the truth? He even added that ONLY the SON can set you free. Not a man, not a denomination. But don't be surprised, they Hated Jesus, so they did to His disciples, and why should you or me or any other true disciples be popularly accepted? Have they all now been saved or have we loose our salvation? Jesus even said when speaking to them in John: 7. 7. The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify that its works are evil. - Bible Offline

See that, also don't be moved that they will all turn against you according to Jesus in Matthew: 10. 22. You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. - Bible Offline

ALTAR CALL?

I'm sorry, but where does this alter call of a thing came from?

IT IS A FAKE THING, A FALSE TEACHING WHICH HAS NO BIBLICAL BACKING. Unless you can show me where Jesus or His disciple lead anyone in the so called prayer of salvation, otherwise, it's all a deception. But I stand to be corrected, but that correction must come only from the words of Christ the savior. Not from the words of any man or any of his books. Okay let's see,

Peter, who was timid and denied Jesus three times in less than 12hrs, waited for the Holy Ghost promised at Pentecost. He became bold after receiving the power of the Holy Ghost and he stepped forward with the other eleven and preached the core truth of salvation to them, at the beginning, they said he was drunk, but in the end, their hearts were cut and THEY RAN TO PETER, please note those words, peter did not make an alter call, they decided with in their minds. Now hear Peter's response below:

Acts: 2. 37. When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" 38. Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call." 40. With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, "Save yourselves from this corrupt generation." 41. Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. - Bible Offline

So you see, salvation is of the Lord. They went to Peter, not peter calling them. No one can come to salvation except the Father draw them. If you like call and count forever like those that will say before I count five or ten, making it as if salvation door closes after the counts. It's all deceptions. And it won't last, that's why they keep coming to church without being saved.

TOPIC: IMAM PROTECTS 326 CHRISTIANS FROM THE KILLER HERDSMEN

A couple of weeks ago, the whole media was filled with the news of one Islam leader, an Imam who hid a few hundreds of Christians from their on chasers, KILLER HERDSMEN, and apart from the government recognizing the humanitarian service of that kind man, it seems though nothing was heard mostly from the Christian Association of Nigeria 🇳🇬 CAN. It seem as if the body didn't even make any news paper or public appreciation of such act whereas if the killers had succeeded in killing them, like they do on other times, CAN won't wait a minute before making a public condemnation. So, why not make a public commendation of such as well? This question was what a Muslim border conceived when he asked on a public post about the economic situation of the country. He noticed many Christians making comments, actually indicating that the leadership in the country is responsible for the current hardships in the nation. So he asked as seemingly irrelevant but conservative question that; "can someone show him a newspaper caption where Christian Association of Nigeria ever appreciate the imam who protected 326 from killer herdsmen?" after pondering a little bit, I found myself receiving a tutelage from the Holy Ghost to reply as follows:

You're on point. But man's appreciation may be irrelevant when God of Heaven decides to visit that man. Day and night is the same in the sight of God, nothing, absolutely nothing is hidden before God Almighty. Good of you to have been thoughtful to that length and good of him to have done the act of grace and kindness. Nevertheless, I have something more to say, Jesus said a time is coming when those who kill His followers will do so passionately, thinking they are serving God. And what must I say, must I be killed for God, well if it matters. I mean Jesus said if I loose my life for His sake, He said He will give me back. If I can't believe Him for that, then I already didn't believe Him on anything either. It means all the faith and beliefs I profess in Him is vain if what I only believe for is perishable things of this world. Back to our imam, he is able to do that now because there is little time left, but I tell you the truth, very shortly, a time will come and has almost come when everyone who try to save the followers of Jesus from death shall be put to death alongside. For the whole world 🌎 shall unite against them under the leadership and lordship of the Antichrist. JESUS said all this in Matthew chapter 24 verses 1 to 51. You may read it or refer a Christian friend to this, to warn them to prepare for their tribulations which I call doom on this earth 🌎, but he that endures to the end, the same shall be saved. And that is the ultimate safety from eternal danger. Thank you

SMOKING?

What is God’s view of smoking? People addicted to cigarettes are quick to point out that the Bible says nothing about smoking. This is simply not true.

It is true that nowhere in the Bible does God say, “Thou shalt not smoke.” But in the Sixth Commandment, He emphatically states, “Thou shalt not murder” (Exodus 20:13, Jewish Publication Society translation). The question we need to answer is, does smoking harm people?

First, the Bible commands us not to allow our bodies to become "mastered" by anything. "You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. And even though “I am allowed to do anything,” I must not become a slave to anything."- Corinthians 6:12. Smoking is unquestionably heavily addictive. In the same chapter again says, "Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body."- 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Smoking is undoubtedly very bad for your health. Smoking has been proven to damage the lungs and the heart.

As per 1 Corinthians 6:12, Can smoking be considered "Good for you"? And as per 1 Corinthians 6:20, Can it be said that smoking is truly honoring God with your body? Can a person honestly smoke "for the glory of God" -1 Corinthians 10:31? We believe that the answer to these questions is a resounding "No." As a result, we believe that smoking is a sin and therefore should not be practiced by followers of Jesus Christ.

Some argue against this view by pointing to the fact that many people eat unhealthy foods, which can be just as addicting and just as bad for the body. As an example, many people are so helplessly addicted to caffeine that they cannot function without their first cup of coffee in the morning. While this is true, how does that make smoking right? It is our contention that Christians should avoid gluttony and excessively unhealthy eating. Yes, Christians are often hypocritical by condemning one sin and condoning another, but, again, this does not make smoking honoring to God.

Another argument against this view of smoking is that many godly men have been smokers, such as the famous British preacher C.H. Spurgeon, who was known to smoke cigars. Again, we do not believe this argument holds any weight. We believe Spurgeon was wrong for smoking. Was he otherwise a godly man and fantastic teacher of God's Word? Absolutely! Does that make all of his actions and habits honoring to God? No.

In stating that smoking is a sin, we are not stating that all smokers are unsaved. There are many true believers in Jesus Christ who smoke. Smoking does not prevent a person from being saved. Nor does it cause a person to lose salvation. Smoking is no less forgivable than any other sin, whether for a person becoming a Christian or a Christian confessing his/her sin to God (1 John 1:9). At the same time, we firmly believe that smoking is a sin that should be forsaken and, with God’s help, overcome.

BE LIKE JESUS?

God checks and will one day judge the intention of EVERY deeds and the deeds themselves. Once I was into drama, but there was a day I was singing 'mo fé kí n dà bíi Jésù' and it dawn on me to answer these questions:

Would Jesus be planning and acting drama?

Would Jesus be rehearsing and performing choreography?

Would Jesus be singing and selling it?

Would Jesus be preaching and selling it in cassettes and books?

Would Jesus be demanding honorarium before accepting invitations?

Would Jesus be sitting and watching African magic or telemundo?

Would Jesus be in a political party, doing politics?

Would Jesus be sitting down to be entertained even as I read that He denied Himself of even food?

Would Jesus be taking selfies?

Would Jesus' sit in the church be different from that of the members even as He taught that the greatest among you shall be your servants?

Would Jesus be buying all the aso ebi we buy everywhere today all in the name of choir robes and party clothes everywhere in guise of anniversary?

Would Jesus even be celebrating birthday or saying happy birthday?

Would Jesus or His disciples be in a gathering where they are praying to a strange god in a strange name and won't rebuke them?

Would Jesus be running to have Canadian citizenship?

Would Jesus be a fan of football club? In fact there are many more that proves to me that I need Him so much to teach me daily how to stop wishing He could be my Lord, but really make Him my Lord indeed by living in total obedience to the way He prescribed in His teachings for me to live this short life on earth. For a thousand years is like a day before God and eternity is the real thing. Now what have I said, if I say it, I die, if I don't, I die. Then why not say it and live in it so I may live?

WHOSE DISCIPLE ARE YOU?

Two years ago, I was asking a set of students some questions. It wan an holiday period but the school had to call some of them back to prepare for Lagos at 50 celebrations. During that time was the noise on the media about Big brother naija winner,  who won a big amount of money, some cars, landed property, and even a political appointment with his state. Then I pondered a little, thinking "how do I teach these young children that the path to BBN is not an honorable path" then I asked them a question "who among you has any idea what BBN is all about?" one of them spoke up, "it's a TV show featuring a group of people living together for 91days, behaving AS IF IT'S THEIR NORMAL LIFE" wao! I said, as if it's their normal life? Which means, in the actual sense, for 91days they will live an ABNORMAL life because everyone knows that's NOT Their normal life. They all said yes. Well, I asked, which means any act of immortality we see on the screen is being carried out for real? They replied yes. Then I further asked, who is behind BBN? God or Satan. They replied Satan. I exclaimed whao! But those people who are watching the program, whose disciples are they? Jesus' disciples or Satan's disciples? They answered, satan's disciples. And all of a sudden, they realized they just spoke the truth about who they had been. I went further to ask, when Jesus said, if a man looks lustfully at a maiden, that man is already guilty of fornication, is it good for a lady to dress in such a way as to reveal a sexy nature? (as that is the term we use today, when they see you even at church, they say you are looking sexy). They answered, no, it is not good. So I added that, if you wear something that cause people to sin against the holiness of Christ, you have made them to become more of enemy to the Christ who came to save them. Furthermore,  I said fine. Consider an athletes, wearing and ordinary pants, who's disciples are they? At this junction they began to look in amazement as they have never heard that kind if teaching before.

There were many more conversations which will be revealed to you if you care for more. But let me tell you this, no matter how you argue what God wants, what His holiness is, and what His principles are, that doesn't change what He wants, what His holiness is and what His principles are. It is we humans that have changed. Jesus Christ the same in the Gospel, the same today in this world and the same forever. Amen

Have you read The Bricklayer?

The Bricklayer is a Bible study curled out from the Goodnews version of 1Cor. 3:1-23

Who is a Bricklayer? He is a builder. Every Christian has the responsibility of building lives and not destroying one. And how do we build lives? Through our words, actions and deeds!

Apostle paul was speaking to them in verse 1 that he was unable to speak to them the way he ought to speak simply because they still live like babies and not adults! God who has called us into the building job expects us to be matured enough because the bricklaying job is not for babies. In verse 2-3 he said they still live as the people of the world lives by allowing the works of the flesh to still manifest in them. Just as we know that a physical bricklayer cannot depend solely on carrot and cucumber to sustain him for the day's Job, he needs a good quantity of energy giving food so also a christian needs to grow up from the level of feeding on milk to the level of solid food. Until you show yourself approve as a workmanship needed not to be ashamed and rightly dividing the word of Truth(2Tim. 2:15) you may not be able to build well. Also he made us realize in verse 7-9 that (GOOD Minus GOD equal to Zero) we are not the main character of the building event but God is the Master Builder and that we are the Building God is working on. He later sounded a note of warning in verse 9-23 that every builder must consider the future of the building while working on it because this will help us to be mindful of the kind of material we are using to build. As a matter of truth, the durability of the building depends on the quality of the materials used and not a matter of anything goes as some christians claim. He further stated that apart from you seeing the beauty of the building, an evaluator(God) is coming to see how good the work is and there will be Reward for whoever that their building pass the test of quality (TOQ) and verse 17 specifically stated that any one who destroy the building will be destroyed by God. And we concluded that since we are God's building, we should be careful physically and Spiritually about what we do to our body, spirit and soul because we will give account of them all.

LAMENTATIONS

I do not cry for those who don't have Jesus but for those who know Jesus, they know He asked them not to conform with the pattern of the world, they know Jesus want them to abide in Him that He may abide in them, they know Jesus will not be a politician, for He is always mindful of God's kingdom's business, they know Jesus said no one can get to God except through Him, they know if anyone is not born again, he cannot get to Heaven, they know they are to offer their bodies as a living sacrifice, they know they are to set their affections only on heavenly things.  Read Colossians: 3. 2. They know Jesus' kingdom is not of this world as Jesus said in the scripture, yes they know this and lots more even that they are not to pursue what unbelievers are pursuing but rather they are to pursue heaven. But yet, they think they can deceive God? They do a lot of rituals which they call services unto God, they do gymnastics and they think they are worshipping God without really putting their minds in what God would want and what His wills are. Just read Matthew: 15. 8. "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 9. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.'" - Bible Offline

Did you hear that? They worship me in vain. Sing and dance all you care, it is your obedience that counts. Not even with the invasion of evil dances everywhere.

Haven't they read that their only worship is to keep their bodies holy and by this they will know the will of God? Read Romans: 12. 1. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. - Bible Offline

And yet pastors so to speak all turned into politicians are there everyday leading the multitudes of Christians to hell on a daily basis. No wonder Jesus said, narrow is the way that leads to life and He added that only a few shall find it. Now, gather all your pastors together and tell me such a number can be called few? Oh! Maybe now I need a dictionary to understand the meaning of few. Now add all the Christians in all the churches and you know that's not few either. And now do I have to cry more bitterly for myself because I live right with in the realms which I condemn because Christ condemned it. This is a call to repentance. For our focus to be shifted away from things the will perish but unto things that will be forever. Amen.

Read. 2 Corinthians: 4. 16. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18. Chapter One

TOPIC: He NAMED YOU DISCIPLES NOT CHRISTIANS

Dear followers of Jesus Christ, I salute your courage which made you decide to make up your mind to follow Jesus Christ the Son of God. I also wish to bring some things to your remembrance or rather to your knowledge if you've never heard or read about them before.

Jesus said whoever cannot forsake all that he has CANNOT BE HIS DISCIPLE. And I congratulate you if you are willing to forsake all that you have for the sake of Christ. But if Not, YOU ARE NOT YET HIS DISCIPLE, though you may have SCHOOL OF DISCIPLE CERTIFICATES. He is not requesting for certificates from you. All He wants is your TOTAL OBEDIENCE TO HIS COMMANDS. And remember, He called them disciples Not Christians, Jesus never referred to them as Christians but Disciples throughout the ENTIRE BIBLE, not even in the book of revelation. It was the unbelievers that refers to them as Christians and that name is much rampant today rather than what Jesus named them. And why am I concerned with this? It is because you know that MANY PEOPLE can claim to be Christians BUT only a few can be called disciples. It takes claim to be a Christian but it takes CALLING to be a DISCIPLE. Pastors can ask you to claim you are a Christian but Jesus is calling you to truly be a disciple, that which you cannot be without firstly forsaking all. I mean ALL BECAUSE HE MEANT ALL. I can show you examples upon examples of those you already know that were true disciples of Jesus in the Bible. But can you show me just one example of His disciple who did not forsake all? Of course, you know the end of Ananias and Saphira his wife who chose to keep some part and still called themselves disciples in acts chapter five verses one to eleven. Jesus did not want you to be Christians or to make  Christians of all nations but He wants you to be a Disciple and Also  to make Disciples of all Nations. So if you just love to be called Christians and not disciples, the choice is ultimately yours. But let me crown it by showing you, with evidences of what you already know, the main differences between CHRISTIANS AND DISCIPLES TODAY:

1.  Those who hate Jesus loves Christians but they hate disciples. Why, Christians will deceive them that they can still get to heaven without Jesus, hence no fight. But disciples will call a spade a spade, telling them that the road without Jesus leads to HELL. And they hate the sound of that. Read, John: 7. 7. The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. - Bible Offline

2.  Christians will seek to have what the unbelievers are seeking, the pleasures of this world, the world's itself, the things that are in this world, and many more. But the disciples will set their affections, their passion, their zeal, their desires, and so on not on earthly things but on heavenly things. Read, Colossians: 3. 2. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. - Bible Offline

Also read, 1 John: 2. 15. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. - Bible Offline

There are many more passages, but let us stop there.

3.  Christians will be entangled with the corrupt government of this world,  seeking position, Fame, money, property, connection and so on. But the disciples will not.  They will remember that Jesus said  His kingdom is not of this world.

John: 18. 36. Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. - Bible Offline

Read: 2 Corinthians: 6. 14. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? - Bible Offline

Romans: 12. 2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. - Bible Offline

Chapter Two

Topic: ALL I HAVE COMMANDED YOU

Please note! This letter is n̸o̸t̸ for Christians but it is for Disciples of Jesus. Or let me ask you from the sincerity of your heart, with all you see around, ARE ALL CHRISTIANS DISCIPLES? I guess you'll say No! Because a disciple will not live the kind of life most Christians are living today. They don't just give a damn what Jesus, the Lord of the mission says. They have their own principles and interpretations of what the master wants. But disciples on the other hand are ready to deny themselves of many things, pleasure, positions, money, respectability, or whatever form of rights or enjoyment you may think of including family relationships or what example was Jesus showing when He said it is only those who do the will of God that are His families, no matter what name they bear or with obvious relationships they might think or even sure they have with Him? What sort of example is that, that He even have to mention that ANYONE among you, that cannot HATE his father or mother or brother or sister or even his own very life cannot be His disciple? Read the scriptures below:

Matthew: 12. 46. While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47. Someone told him, "Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you." 48. He replied to him, "Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?" 49. Pointing to his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers. 50. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."

Luke: 14. 26. "If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple.

Wao! Did Jesus really....  As in did He really really meant what was written down that He said? Well, you can go to church, sing and dance all your life, you are just but a Christian and NOT a disciple. And until YOU realise that Jesus actually meant it, that you should do whatever He says, then will He be your Lord and then will you be His disciple. But as long as you still query His commands, then your are His lord and He should do what you want. Oh! What's this one saying? Aren't we taught that God is love? And didn't He wants us to love everybody? Now to answer this, consider Abraham, He loved his only son Isaac, a child of promise, the only legitimate heir to all his numerous wealth and property. Now God, a loving father, portrayed today as a father Christmas 🎅, who would always act like your wishing fairy 🌠,  now, that God told Abraham to practically and literarily KILL Isaac his son. Was it unloving for God to make such a demand from Abraham? You know, what people will call crazy demand from God. Or was it unloving for Abraham to had decided to actually exercise such a weird obedience? No! So, until you realise that Jesus can literally tell you anything which include that you should cut away your finger if it will hinder you or pluck out your eyes if it will cause you to sin or even that you should be ready to loose not only one finger or one part of your body but your whole life for His sake, even as He promised to give you back whatever you loose, and stop telling Him what He supposed to tell you in His word, then you will remain the worst enemy of your soul and that of the families you claim to love and you simply have shown that you don't have any faith in Him.

Now, to the business of the day!

What has Jesus commanded His disciples?

Am not asking for what Paul commanded, for Paul himself advised you to crosscheck anything he says with what Jesus has told you his disciple. So, you won't be able to quote Paul when you face Jesus on the last day.

1.  Matt. 23:8-10.

*** Don't let anyone call you Rabbi which means teacher, why? He said you have only one teacher which is Christ Himself present today as the Holy Spirit and that must include every other title you bear which takes the role of Christ, be it teaching, leading, overseeing, or pastoring even shepherding or even to be called Dr. , those are not meant for you. Leave that for JESUS, in that same scripture He said, you should not be called MASTER, which has been modernized today Mr or Mrs, or any related title, what He is simply telling you His disciples, not telling everyone else, but you who are willing to forsake all for Him to do is to STOP LETTING PEOPLE USE TITLE FOR YOU, STOP LETTING PEOPLE PRAISE YOU, AND STOP USING THOSE TITLES FOR PEOPLE AS WELL AS STOP PRAISING PEOPLE, remember a king in the Bible praised himself instead of praising God and God turned him into an animal even though God gave him a second chance. Also another king didn't praise himself but allowed people to praise him, forgetting the fact that every mouth God has made is for God's praise alone. He said He is a jealous God.

But nevertheless, chapter Two continues...

And that King was instantly destroyed by the invisible armies of the Lord. Worms ate him alive. Now, this is the dispensation of grace and that's why God just keep watching if perhaps you His disciple will STOP conforming with the pattern of this world. Please note, the more you allow people to show you respect, most importantly in things pertaining to God, the more you loose honour or reward in the sight of God. For you have your rewards ALREADY.

Still from the same scripture, God said CALL NO ONE ON EARTH FATHER, for you have ONLY ONE FATHER, and that's God you know, but unfortunately that changed about 15  centuries ago, the so called churches became the worst offender of such, They do not only call men Father or father in the Lord even though I wonder which Lord since the true shepherd, the real Lord said, don't call anyone father, and you and I know that here He's already referring to those who Lord themselves upon the church, they started then to call the Pope, not only father but they call him HOLY FATHER unto this day. Now, I'm guessing you are seeing why what people do as serving the Lord today is outright contradictions to what the Lord send them, or when Jesus Christ said, go into all the world, and that's go everywhere and anywhere, but people today prefer to pull crowds to themselves, because it is obviously not unto Jesus with all the evidences of rituals going on everywhere, they prefer to build empire around themselves, to be called G. O, or general overseer or superintendent or whatever title they may bear. Meanwhile, call no man FATHER, FOR YOU HAVE ONLY ONE FATHER, AND HE IS IN HEAVEN. Bearing in mind that the word FATHER has been interpreted to mean daddy, papa, sire, all which stands for the same use of title. God is simply telling You, His disciple, not just anybody else, to STOP letting titles be used for you and to STOP using those titles for people as well. Stop using the titles and start calling even the seemingly gentle among your fathers in the Lord so to speak by their names and see how they will easily get angry with you. It simply shows that all their meekness and gentility are nothing but a mere camouflage, wolves in  sheep's clothing.

If you think by asking you to really obey you Lord, then I'm teaching you to be disrespectful, then you will see how disrespectful you have been already to be able to call Moses or Elijah or Peter the rock or Paul or even JESUS, the name above every other name without adding any flavors. So, put the flavors aside, obedience to God is the key Not all the sacrifices, STOP USING TITLE FOR ANYONE AND STOP LETTING PEOPLE USE IT FOR YOU. Now I see you fear men more than God, well you could start by stopping people from using titles for you, then you'll know the next step to take. If you cannot brace yourself up, to start on this simple note, I don't see why you should bother to read the next chapter of these letters. ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ᴛʜʀᴇᴇ

ᴛᴘᴏɪᴄ: ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴀʏ ɪ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ʏᴏᴜ ᴛᴏ ʟɪᴠᴇ ᴏɴ ᴇᴀʀᴛʜ 🌎

It is easy for all Christians to say JESUS IS LORD through their professions and songs. And it could be really done without doing the things He commanded them to do. That is, you could be living in outright disobedience to Christ and still be singing 🎶 🎤 Christ in me the hope of glory, lately will you realise that it is not about what you say or sing but about what you do, obedience to the core. Read:

Luke: 6. 46. "Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?

In that passage, you can see that people may be calling Jesus many sweet and wonderful names, but it's all a waste of life without obedience to the same Jesus. You know what I see everywhere today is found in

Matthew: 15. 8. "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 9. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.'"

Now, if Jesus is really and truly your Lord! I mean your commander, the one who says and you do, the one who promised various rewards both for obedient and disobedient children, the one who said He would separate the sheep from the goats, the wheat form the tares, the one who died for your sins, the one who gave you the grace to be able to be reckoned with in the presence of the Almighty God, then you should want to know the way He prescribed for you, His disciple to live your life on earth. So, here I'm not referring to everybody but only the disciples of JESUS.

1. I will remind you of three accounts : the first is when Jesus called someone to follow Him and to serve just like you have been called. The man told Jesus "yes LORD, I will come, but first let me go and bury my father" but I believe you know the rest of that story and the second case is where Jesus called a man and the man told Him to wait for him to go and say farewell to his families,  I bet you know the rest of that as well. But I'll give you  a quick boost into the details after reading the passages below:

Matthew: 8. 21. Another disciple said to him, "Lord, first let me go and bury my father." 22. But Jesus told him, "Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead."

Also,

Luke: 9. 61. Still another said, "I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family." 62. Jesus replied, "No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God."

From the two passages, JESUS compares those who are mindful of worldly affairs as DEAD and He compares those who mind the affairs of the spirit and simply LIVING. Now, are you living or dead?

In the second passage, He is letting you know that after He had paid the price for your salvation and eternal rest, you still have a part to play by choosing to go through the way of the cross, the way of obedience, the narrow way. I tell you the truth, only a FEW shall find it. Now will you be part of the few that find the Kingdom of God?

The third case is the case of a man, a wealthy man, who want to have the wealth of this wicked world and still have the gift of eternal life at the same time. But to his amazement, Jesus told him straightaway that they kingdom of God does not require earthly riches, he must first get rid of the riches by all means, SELL ALL THAT YOU HAVE AND GIVE THE PROCEEDS TO THE POOR, Jesus told him. But you know, you can't keep money and keep God at the same time, no way, you'll rather have faith in God and distrust money or you have faith in money and distrust God. So, the man at the moment chose to think about it and the Bible recorded it that he went away sorrowfully. Is it not when something bad happens that one should be sorrowful? Whoa! Jesus gave him the best shock of his life.

And what actually did I want to tell you in this first point? Now,  read for yourself :

Romans: 12. 1. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. 3. For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

In that passage, Jesus sent His servant to show you His disciple how to live on earth. The first part is your body, it should be presented as a living sacrifice. What does that mean to you, a sacrifice is not in control of himself, the Lord of the sacrifice is in charge. In the same way, your body no longer belongs to you, you should put on something that edify the spirit and soul of your onlookers, not to please their lusts or to please yourself, no no no but to please your Lord. Some christian ladies collected their clothes from the tailor and they began to complain that the tailor didn't sew the clothes to be striking enough. Please tell me, what are they striking? This are the clothes they were planning to wear to church on a Sunday. They are simply planning to pull men down.

Jesus said, by looking lustfully at a maiden, you already sin. Now, tell me what happens when you as a disciple purposely dress to join this shameless generation in wearing materials which reveal your body figure? You have succeeded in corrupting the temple of God in the heart of your onlooker. Mind you the Bible says ye are God's living temples and he that destroy the temple shall God destroy. The time to change is Now. Tomorrow may be too late.

Also, another part of that scriptures said you should not be conformed to the pattern of this world. But you should renew your mind. Sanctified by His words. Okay, what really are the patterns of this world today?

Will JESUS join political parties?

Will Jesus watch football?

Will Jesus sit with Telemundo?

Will Jesus take selfies? Even that one is common on the so called alters of God today.

Will Jesus attend funeral?

Will Jesus celebrate birthday?

will Jesus buy choir uniform?

Will Jesus be labouring for things that perish like building a church, or building souls even as He advised you His disciple not to labour on things that perish but on eternal things of God's kingdom?

Will Jesus concern Himself about outward beauty or the beauty of the souls?

Will Jesus be serving working under an unbeliever? Christians may do, but disciples must not.

So, everything that Jesus would not do is called PATTERN OF THE WORLD. Are you entangled and can't come out? If only you are willingly to be free from the entanglement of this world, go to God in prayer. See you in chapter Four. But let me ask you just one question, where in the Bible did Jesus ever say, close your eyes, let us pray? Please read the entire Gospel and find out at least one place where He led prayers.
